The concluding event of the original music radio festival “Music from Batumi” was held in Keda, at Fridon Khalvashi Park.
Musician Vazha Tugushi, the band “The CatFish,” and other performers appeared before the audience, earning warm applause from those in attendance.
It is noteworthy that this year, for the first time, the festival expanded beyond its traditional location, moving from the open stage set up in front of Ajara Public Broadcaster’s Ajara Radio to Keda Municipality.
The project began on August 16 in Batumi, where for 4 days, aspiring and renowned musicians presented their own compositions on an open stage.
The project is the winner of the Ajara Ministry of Culture’s Festivals Grant Competition, and its aim is to popularize original music and support emerging and well-known author-performers.
