The concluding event of the original music radio festival “Music from Batumi” was held in Keda, at Fridon Khalvashi Park. Vazha Tugushi, the band “The CatFish,” and other performers appeared before the audience.
This year, the festival for the first time moved beyond its traditional location, transferring from the open stage set up in front of Ajara Public Broadcaster’s Ajara Radio to Keda Municipality.
The project started on August 16 in Batumi, where for 4 days, emerging and renowned musicians presented their own compositions on an open stage.
The project is the winner of the Ajara Ministry of Culture’s Festivals Grant Competition. Its aim is to popularize original music and to support aspiring and renowned author-performers.
